The Goats and Sheep Will Be Separated

Posted by Wes Schaeffer | September 9, 2021

From today’s reading...

‘When the Son of man comes in his glory, escorted by all the angels, then he will take his seat on his throne of glory. All nations will be assembled before him and he will separate people one from another as the shepherd separates sheep from goats.’” Matthew 25:31-32

No one gets away with anything.

Sure, you might lie, steal, and cheat today to gain a quick, short-lived advantage for a week or even a year, but the guilt will wear on you. If you keep it up, you’ll be a fraction of yourself by the end of the year and unrecognizable in a decade.

And that’s the good news.

Suppose you keep up, never see the error of your ways, and never repent of your greedy, evil actions.

In that case, you’ll be treated by God for all eternity how you treated your neighbor during your limited time here on earth, i.e., you’ll literally have hell to pay.

It doesn’t have to be that way.

Feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, welcome the stranger, clothe the naked, care for the sick, visit the imprisoned, which is the only way to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Now go sell something.
