Turn off the filters and, for once, give yourself a thorough once-over…then do it again. And now, one more time.

Don’t beat yourself up, but don’t justify, gloss over, or make excuses for the imperfections and shortcomings you find.

Now, with those fresh eyes, look at your neighbor, and cut them some slack. Sure, they have their own shortcomings and imperfections, but are they any worse than yours?

Yeah, yeah. They need to straighten up and fly right, but browbeating and critiquing them will only make them despise and turn away from you.

Help them see the error of their ways by correcting your own errors, which is the only way to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Now go sell something.
