God is Folly to Fools

Written by Wes Schaeffer | August 30, 2022

From today’s reading...

The natural person has no room for the gifts of God's Spirit; to him they are folly; he cannot recognise them, because their value can be assessed only in the Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 2:14

All the cool people online today are “spiritual, but not religious.”

They want to unleash their “divine feminine” but don’t believe in God.

They want to “increase their vibration” but deny the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

They place their trust in the “goodness of the universe” but deny the existence of God.

They believe in the power of manifestation, but not the power of prayer.

They do not know what happens when we die, but they know that the heaven described in the Bible is a fairy tale.

They believe whatever the media tells them, but they swear that the Bible is full of contradictions and is not to be trusted.

They believe that “organized religion” is just a tool used by colonizers, oppressors, and the patriarchy to control the masses, which they repeatedly share on Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram via their $1,200 smartphones while wearing their $1,200 shoes and sipping their $12 lattes while bemoaning the fact they can’t make their $500 college loan payment because they were “lied to” by the very counselors, professors, and institutions they have sacrificed their lives, joy, happiness, and rational thinking to.

It’s obvious who the real fools are, but you’ll never convince those fools, so just live your life as best you can, which means you must...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Now go sell something.
