The Power of a Mother's Faith

Posted by Wes Schaeffer | August 3, 2022

From today’s reading...

Then Jesus answered her, ‘Woman, you have great faith. Let your desire be granted.’ And from that moment her daughter was well again.” Matthew 15:28

There is no greater force in the world than a mother seeking help for her child.

Thirty-eight weeks into her sixth pregnancy, my wife, at the age of 36, spent 15 days straight in the hospital with our daughter, who turned three in the hospital with an undiagnosed ruptured appendix.

She never left our daughter’s side, sleeping in the hospital bed with her, showering in the hospital bathroom, eating almost nothing (she lost 10 pounds when she would’ve normally gained 10 pounds), and through sheer force of will, saw our daughter through her diagnosis, surgery, and successful recovery, got her home, learned how to administer antibiotics through a PICC line, then went into labor.

Have that type of faith in Jesus for your children as well as for yourself because we are sick and in need of His salvation.

Stay by His side.

Seek His treatment.

Do not rest until you are in His arms, which is the only way to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Now go sell something.
