The Foolish and the Sensible

Posted by Wes Schaeffer | August 27, 2021

From today’s reading...

‘Then the kingdom of Heaven will be like this: Ten wedding attendants took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were sensible:’” Matthew 25:1-2

In less-refined words, you can’t save every puppy in the pound.

It’s better to provide 100% care and support to 10 people/puppies than 10% support to 100.

All ten wedding attendants had the money and the time and the encouragement to bring ample oil for their lamps, but only five did.

The five foolish ones were allowed to suffer the consequences of their choices.

The same is true for you and me. You’ve been instructed on how to think, act, and pray. Now you get to choose to listen and heed that advice or not.

I hope you choose to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Now go sell something.
