The Bride The Lamb Has Married

Posted by Wes Schaeffer | August 24, 2022

From today’s reading...

In the spirit, he carried me to the top of a very high mountain, and showed me Jerusalem, the holy city, coming down out of heaven from God.” Revelation 21:10

John sees seven angels with seven bowls with seven final plagues just one verse before this.

And those angels spoke to him and offered to show him “the bride that the Lamb has married.”

This was how he came to be on top of a mountain seeing an earthly city coming down from heaven.

What the…? What does this mean? Is it real? Is it true? Is it madness?

Maybe it’s all of the above. The symbolism is deep and multi-faceted throughout the Bible, especially in Revelation, where the story of God’s love affair with us concludes.

He wants to restore us to our full glory, our true potential, the way He made us in the beginning.

He will bring Himself to us.

He will live among us as a groom lives with His bride.

The future is bright for you and me as long as we...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Now go sell something.
