Proceed With Courage

Written by Wes Schaeffer | August 11, 2019

From today’s reading...

The night of the passover was known beforehand to our fathers,
that, with sure knowledge of the oaths in which they put their faith,
they might have courage”

Nothing is more frightening to a parent than knowing their children might not be safe. A few decades prior, when Moses was a baby, the Israelites suffered through the execution of their children under Pharaoh.

Now death was coming again to Egypt and the Israelites had to follow the instructions of the Lord to protect their children, which they did with confidence instead of fear because of their trust in their fathers, who had trust in the Father who had made Himself and His covenant known.

That same covenant has been passed down to you. The Lord is on your side and He has given you all you need to…

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.
