Yesterday, Jesus chose His twelve.
Today, He gives them their marching orders. They’re not given chariots or entourages or Ferraris or private jets.
They don’t get fancy sandals, ornate walking sticks, or nice suits.
Five-star resorts are not in their future, nor are they promised throngs of adoring fans anxiously awaiting their arrival.
Nope.
They are to get to work doing the Lord’s work, which is the only way to...
Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.
Now go sell something.
