Sow Justice. Reap Piety.

Posted by Wes Schaeffer | July 8, 2020

From today’s reading...

Sow for yourselves justice,
reap the fruit of piety;
break up for yourselves a new field,
for it is time to seek the LORD,
till he come and rain down justice upon you.” Hosea 10:12

Leading up to this verse Hosea describes how prosperous Israel was but they let their prosperity go to their heads and turn them from God, which was met with disaster.

It seems we are having to learn that lesson ourselves. We’ve built up “more sacred pillars” in the forms of stadiums and government buildings. Our hearts are false and we must pay for our guilt.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. Bring back justice and piety. Work hard. Seek the Lord. It’s the only way to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Now go sell something.
