From today’s reading...
At that time Jesus exclaimed, ‘I bless you, Father, Lord of heaven and of earth, for hiding these things from the learned and the clever and revealing them to little children.’” Matthew 11:25
Life can be a grind, which tends to make us jaded, cold-hearted, close-minded, stiff-necked, and hard-headed.
“The curse of knowledge” is also a thing, as is confirmation bias, and good ol’ arrogance, all of which can give us tunnel vision, which makes us blind to the truth and the Truth.
But God still loves us as His children, so He uses every means at His disposal to get through to us, and nothing can soften a heart and open a mind like an innocent child sharing their insight, wonder, curiosity, peace, and love.
It’s one of the reasons children are a blessing.

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.
Now go sell something.
