From today’s reading...
But Joseph replied, ‘Do not be afraid; is it for me to put myself in God’s place? The evil you planned to do me has by God's design been turned to good, to bring about the present result: the survival of a numerous people.’” Genesis 50:19-20
Joseph tells his family not to be afraid today.
Likewise, so does Jesus in Matthew 10.
In fact, in just ten verses, Jesus says “do not be afraid” three times today.
God took a familial betrayal and used it to help save a nation from a famine, leading to the family being reunited.
God knows what you’re dealing with today.
Pick up your cross and carry it willingly.
