Elijah is a smack-talkin’, miracle-makin’, God-lovin’ converter of souls.
He stared down 450 of the prophets of Baal “in front of all the people” (v21) and challenged them to a duel, of sorts, and he won.
But first, he made sure to make right that which was God’s.
