From today’s reading...
‘Enter by the narrow gate, since the road that leads to destruction is wide and spacious, and many take it; but it is a narrow gate and a hard road that leads to life, and only a few find it.’” Matthew 7:13-14
In other words, it’s not “anything goes,” nor is it “Just do what makes you happy,” nor is it “I’m spiritual but not religious.”
God made the world, and He made you and me as part of the world to navigate the peaks and valleys, the pitfalls and pathways, the gotchas and gates.
It can be a hard journey, but nothing worthwhile is easy.
Follow the light. Stay in the light. It’s the only way to find the gate.
Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.
Now go sell something.
