When the wedding feast was over, Tobit called his son Tobias and said, ‘My son, you ought to think about paying the amount due to your fellow traveller; give him more than the figure agreed on.’” Tobit 12:1
Tobit continues to live by example for his family, his community, and for God. He gives, and he gives thanks, and he encourages his son, Tobias, to do the same.
In return, Raphael shares with him and Tobias how God has always looked after them, and he instructs him to “Write down all that has happened” (v20c).
