God Creates All Things In Pairs

Written by Wes Schaeffer | June 1, 2023

From today’s reading...

All things go in pairs, by opposites, he has not made anything imperfect: one thing complements the excellence of another. Who could ever grow tired of gazing at his glory?” Sirach 42:24-25

On the first day of so-called pride month, we get this reading from Sirach, a chapter the cool kids at KLM either didn’t read or chose to ignore a few years ago when they made the Tweet, “It doesn’t matter who you click with. Happy #PrideAmsterdam.”

Seeing how KLM is still on record for causing the worst disaster in aviation history that killed 583 people in the Tenerife airport disaster, you’d think they’d be a little more concerned with the correct and proper usage of safety equipment, but you’d be mistaken, because “#RepresentationMatters and I can’t wait to see the impact you’ll have leading this 40-year-old brand! Now, pass me a cold one.” as a woke “thought leader” posted eleven months ago on LinkedIn when Alissa Gordon Heinerscheid was promoted to VP at Bud Light. Oops.

Apparently, results still matter more than representation, and when you go against the natural order, as laid out by God in the Bible, you end up flying blind and without a working seatbelt, which is no way to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.
