You Still Do Not Know Me?

Posted by Wes Schaeffer | May 7, 2023

From today’s reading...

‘Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and you still do not know me? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father, so how can you say, “Show us the Father”?’” John 14:9

The people in the time of Jesus really were sheep.

Rising up to the intelligence level of sheep would be a huge leap for us today.

Spend just 10-15 minutes with MTV on or scrolling through Twitter "debates" or watching the “man on the street” interviews on YouTube or Instagram, and you’ll realize “Idiocracy” was not fictional but a prophecy that has been fulfilled about 485 years sooner than depicted in the movie.

We're still the same sheep Jesus spoke of 2,000 years ago, but now we’re sheep with ADHD, which makes us sheep with the attention spans of goldfish.

But the good news is Jesus still loves you and me.

So before you criticize Philip for not seeing Jesus for Who He really is, ask yourself how well you know Jesus because knowing Him fully is the only way to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Market like you mean it. Now go sell something.
