To think you are to sit home and have a “personal relationship with Jesus” as you avoid the “hypocrites” and the “self-righteous” that comprise “organized religion” is to do the devil’s work and ignore the clear guidance of the One you purport to oh-so-well know, emulate, follow, and do His will.
You’re like a world-class ship that never leaves the harbor, so you build up rust and barnacles and the gaskets of your engine dry rot and leak.
You’re allowing the devil to make you lazy and afraid.
You’re allowing the devil to make your vanity and pride close your mind and freeze your body in place…on the couch…alone…binging your pot, porn, and playoffs.
Get up and get to church.
Show those self-righteous hypocrites how to love, worship, and serve others, starting with Jesus and those self-righteous hypocrites, which is the only way to...
Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.
