Seek The Breath That Began Your Life

Posted by Wes Schaeffer | May 23, 2021

From today’s reading...

Turn away your face and they panic; take back their breath and they die and revert to dust. Send out your breath and life begins; you renew the face of the earth.” Psalm 104:29-30

On Pentecost Sunday, we read in John 20 how Jesus breathed on His disciples to give them the Holy Spirit. They received what the Psalmist knew centuries earlier: that the very breath of life comes from God.

Don’t take your breath—or the source of that breath—for granted.

You need it to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Now go sell something.
