There Is No Shame For Suffering

Posted by Wes Schaeffer | May 21, 2023

From today’s reading...

but if any one of you should suffer for being a Christian, then there must be no shame but thanksgiving to God for bearing this name.” 1 Peter 4:16

Some say a ship is “safe in the harbor,” but define safe and define the purpose of a ship.

Ships are made to navigate the depths of the ocean and weather the storms.

Their engines are meant to run for extended periods as they propel the ship to its destination.

Ditto for you.

God did not create you to sit on your ass eating chips and binging on pot, porn, and playoffs.

Get out there and enter the fray.

Mix it up.

Challenge the sloths, confront the miscreants, and compel the evildoers to reconsider their existence.

Might you skin your knee or blacken your eye in the process?

So be it.

Chicks did scars.

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Market like you mean it. Now go sell something.
