From today’s reading...
This God of ours is a God who saves; from Lord Yahweh comes escape from death; but God smashes the head of his enemies, the long-haired skull of the prowling criminal.” Psalm 68:20-21
Maybe I should not admit how happy I am to know that the bad guys will get what they deserve, but this passage leaped out at me today.
God knows how this story ends.
He is keeping score.
He is patient and kind.
He is merciful.
He is also just.
You and I will get what we deserve, be it a smooch or a smash of the head, so...
Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.
Now go sell something.
