God creates order out of chaos. It’s why the keys to David’s palace are passed on in Isaiah 22:22 to Jesus, who will have the ability and authority to close and to open.
Jesus then passed those keys on to Simon, a.k.a. Cephas, which is “Rock” in Aramaic, the language Jesus and The Rock spoke, in Matthew 16:19.
We see this hierarchy continue and expand with Paul and his escorts, students, assistants, deacons, and other ordained men because this is how you bring order out of chaos.
You need a chain of command.
You need ordained leaders who uphold the documented teachings of God, and via those documented teachings, the laity keeps the leaders accountable, which is the only way to…...
