Love Is Following The Commandments

‘Whoever holds to my commandments and keeps them is the one who loves me; and whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I shall love him and reveal myself to him.’” John 14:21

To be a follower of Jesus means you must do more than think happy thoughts or have good intentions or have a personal relationship with Jesus (whatever in the hell that means.

I mean, how can some even claim that is biblical…but I digress.) or be spiritual but not religious (again, WTH?).

I mean, show me how you can follow without taking action, i.e., getting out of your beanbag chair, putting one foot in front of the other, and moving your body, not just your mouth.

Jesus did not call you and me to be keyboard warriors.

No, He called us to be spiritual warriors, which necessitates action, i.e., the keeping of commandments, which means you follow and obey Jesus and those to whom He handed over the keys to the kingdom, which is the only way to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.
