Written by Wes Schaeffer | May 10, 2019

From today’s reading...

Go, for this man is a chosen instrument of mine
to carry my name before Gentiles, kings, and children of Israel,
and I will show him what he will have to suffer for my name.”

Saul took a good thing—his passion for his faith—too far.

He justified the imprisonment, torture, and murder of people of a different faith with the dictates of his faith.

Today, as he was "still breathing murderous threats against the disciples of the Lord," he was literally knocked off his high horse and for three days he fasted during his blindness.

Ananias was called by the Lord to assist with the conversion of Saul but Ananias was scared since Saul was a known zealot against all "who belonged to the Way."

His ways are mysterious but His path is still Straight, which is why you are called to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.
