From today’s reading...
‘God raised this man Jesus to life, and of that we are all witnesses.’” Acts 2:32
One Tuesday morning, this priest, called in a favor from a fellow priest to say Mass for him so he could sneak away to get in a round of golf.
As luck would have it, the course was completely empty, so he zipped around through the round at his own pace, which allowed him to find his rhythm, and he hit the ball like a champ.
On the 17th hole, he hit his first hole-in-one and finished the day under 80 for the first time in his life, but he could tell no one since he was supposed to be at his parish saying Mass.
This does not describe how Jesus returned.
He walked…He talked…He taught…He ate for dozens and hundreds to see, and they went on to preach and to write, to baptize and to convert the world just so you and I can...
Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.
