The Bible is a bit of a broken record.
People are given everything.
They take it for granted.
They ignore God’s instructions.
They are punished.
They suffer.
They eventually learn their lessons.
They repent.
They turn back to God.
They celebrate.
They get fat.
They get lazy.
They get sloppy.
They get greedy.
They take it for granted.
Over.
And over.
And over again.
We, with our iPhones and our Teslas and our 5G and our AI scoff at “those people.”
At their foolishness.
At their ignorance.
“You know the definition of insanity, right? Doing the same things over and over and expecting a different result.”
We say that without realizing we are smack dab in the middle of the “take it for granted” and the “ignore God’s instructions” stages.
Punishment is headed our way.
Skip a few steps.
Turn back to God now.
It’s the only way to...
Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.
