They Tried to Stone Jesus

Written by Wes Schaeffer | March 30, 2023

From today’s reading...

At this they picked up stones to throw at him; but Jesus hid himself and left the Temple.” John 8:59

What would “at this” be to drive you to want to stone someone to death?

For me, in the heat of the moment, I could see myself killing a person I caught molesting a child or raping a woman or abusing a handicapped or elderly person.

Apparently, many from the White House down to your cul-de-sac think misgendering a person suffering from gender dysphoria is egregious enough to warrant stoning—or shooting—you to death, and by “you,” they mean you, anyone that may have worked with you, your children, or any children that go to school with your children.

Today, not 72 hours since a woman killed six people, including three children, at a Christian school in Nashville, the White House Press Secretary said, “Our hearts go out to the trans community, as they are under attack right now.”

These six dead Christians haven’t even been buried, and the White House is trying to gen up support and sympathy for “the trans community,” which has encouraged, supported, and promoted such revenge.

But is this surprising?

These are the same people that support the D.C. abortion clinic, which is murdering fully-developed and already-born infants, so shooting some children and adults—or stoning Jesus—is not a stretch.

Evil people do evil things, and the only way to stop them is to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.
