Stop Sinning Once You Are Healed

Posted by Wes Schaeffer | March 29, 2022

From today’s reading...

After a while Jesus met him in the Temple and said, ‘Now you are well again, do not sin any more, or something worse may happen to you.’” John 5:14

People have been full of crap since Adam and Eve ate the apple, but now, thanks to smartphones, high-speed internet, and social media, idiots, fools, simpletons, and the conniving can spew their ignorance far and wide, with speed, efficiency, and alacrity.

You’ve seen these jacklegs with their inane quips such as,

  • “Love is love.”
  • “Judge not lest ye be judged.”
  • “Money is the root of all evil.”
  • “51 intelligence experts swear the Hunter Biden laptop story is Russian disinformation.”

When Jesus performs a miracle in your life—and your very life and every breath are miracles in and of themselves—you should shut your trap other than to heap praise upon His name.

You sure as heck shouldn’t double down on your foolish, evil, sinful ways, and you really shouldn’t seek to drag others down with you.

Learn what it means to love truly.

Learn the difference between judging and rebuking.

Learn what the root of evil really is. (Hint: it’s here in 1 Timothy 6:10.)

Learn how evil and corrupt these 51 intelligence “experts” are and how they are tearing at the foundation of the greatest country the world has ever known, and they are doing so while they distract you with pot, porn, and playoffs.

You doubt me?

I bet you can name five sports players who had standout performances this past week, yet you can’t name even one of the 51 intelligence experts that the New York Times just verified were lying, albeit 16 months late.

There are sins of commission, but there are also sins of omission. Go and sin no more if your goal is to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Now go sell something.
