The educated, wise, and wonderful scribes and Pharisees, Sadducees, and elders prided themselves in their knowledge and adherence to scripture, yet their pride blinded them from seeing what they supposedly sought and yearned for to their own demise.
There are countless stories of weary travelers enduring great hardships to seek the advice of the wise man on the mountain, only to be told to go home and appreciate what they have.
You’ve been given what you need.
Accept it. Use it fully.
