Sit With The Sinners

From today’s reading...

The tax collectors and sinners, however, were all crowding round to listen to him, and the Pharisees and scribes complained saying, ‘This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.’” Luke 15:1-2

Be thankful Jesus chooses to sit with the sinners. Otherwise, you and I would be forced to sit alone.

Now emulate Him, find a fellow sinner, and be charitable to them, both online and in person.

Be kind and patient with them online, where you act the fool because you’re not face to face with them.

When you are face to face, ask to join them because pride is a bigger sin than the sins you assume they have committed, which you use as an excuse to keep your distance, which is the opposite of living as Christ did.

Admit you are no better than anyone you meet and ask to be seated with saints and sinners alike, which is the only way to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Now go sell something.
