You Are To Conceive Jesus

Posted by Wes Schaeffer | March 25, 2022

From today’s reading...

‘Look! You are to conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you must name him Jesus.’” Luke 1:31

The new completes the old. Today, we see the opening of Luke complete what Isaiah foretold, “‘The Lord will give you a sign in any case: It is this: the young woman is with child and will give birth to a son whom she will call Immanuel.’” (Isaiah 7:14)

Isaiah made this prophesy about 700 years before it came true, and it has been over 2,000 years since it did come true.

Think about that timeframe.

How many lies, crimes, wars, and atrocities have happened in our world just since corrupt government officials bludgeoned us with COVID?

Now multiply that timeframe by 1,350.

Will the world know the name of Fauci in the year 4900? How about William (Lia) Thomas?

Or the name of a female Supreme Court Justice nominee who cannot define what a woman is?

I doubt it.

But without electricity or the internet or any modern comforts or advances in science for most of the 2,900 years since Isaiah did his thing, we know the love and the power of God, which was made manifest via a humble young lady, whose actions were known 700 years in advance, without which we would not know how to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Now go sell something.
