Our world is divided.
Our Church is divided.
Our nation is divided.
Our state is divided.
Our community is divided.
Even our homes are divided in many cases.
The devil does not want a fair fight.
The devil does not want to engage us head-to-head, toe-to-toe.
The devil does not want a conventional battle on an open field.
The devil wants an easy fight.
The devil wants a guerrilla fight.
The devil wants to outflank us.
The devil wants to pick us apart, one by one.
The devil wants to sneak up on us when we are distracted.
The devil wants to sneak up on us when we fight over stupid stuff.
Based on how we have conducted ourselves the last two years, I’d say the devil is winning.
It doesn’t have to be this way. Make amends. Reach across the aisle. Apologize. Heal old wounds. Come together as one nation, under God, indivisible, which is the only way to...
