Turn Our Mourning Into Gladness

Posted by Wes Schaeffer | March 2, 2023

From today’s reading...

And now, come to help me, an orphan. Put in my mouth persuasive words in the presence of the lion and turn his heart to hatred for our enemy, so that he and those who are in league with him may perish. Save us from the hand of our enemies; turn our mourning into gladness and our sorrows into wholeness.” Esther C:23-25

Women in the Bible are fighters, and they take no prisoners because sometimes, the enemy will only stop when you stop their beating hearts.

For three days, she lay prostrate in prayer while covered in dirt and ashes as she sought the will of God, then she rose up and did what she had to do, putting herself in harm’s way to save Mordecai and her people.

This is how Haman came to be hanged on the gibbet he had built for Mordecai.

Subject yourself to the Lord, and your mourning will be turned into gladness.

Besides, it’s the only way to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Market like you mean it. Now go sell something.
