To Be Great, Serve

Written by Wes Schaeffer | March 16, 2022

From today’s reading...

‘Among you this is not to happen. No; anyone who wants to become great among you must be your servant,…’” Matthew 20:26

The mother of Zebedee’s sons had an incorrect understanding of what it meant to be great, and by the looks of society today, most people still do.

The late, great Zig Ziglar understood today’s reading from Matthew, as he would always say, “You can get whatever you want out of life, if you just help enough people get what they want.”

Apparently, people are confused about faith, positions of authority, and selling.

Come to think about it, most of us are confused about most things, but the wise are humble and cautious, while the fools are boisterous and bold.

Notice who’s making a lot of noise and be careful before giving them all of your time, talents, and treasures, which is the only way to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Now go sell something.
