From today’s reading...
We now have no leader, no prophet, no prince, no burnt offering, no sacrifice, no oblation, no incense, no place where we can make offerings to you…” Daniel 3:38
Azariah, a.k.a. Abed-Nego, stood in the fire as he prayed today’s prayer.
Azariah knew he and his people suffered because they had sinned.
But by his example and those of his peers, he turned the heart and soul of King Nebuchadnezzar back to God, which turned the city and nation around and saved hundreds, if not thousands, of souls.
Today, we now have no leader.
The Church is weak.
Nations are weak.
States are weak.
School boards are weak.
But that’s no excuse for you to be weak.
Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.
