From today’s reading...
Jesus said, ‘In truth I tell you, there is no one who has left house, brothers, sisters, mother, father, children or land for my sake and for the sake of the gospel who will not receive a hundred times as much, houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and land -- and persecutions too -- now in this present time and, in the world to come, eternal life.’” Mark 10:29-30
In other words, get out of your comfort zone to reach your full potential.
Embrace the suck because there will be a lot of it.
You were created and called to work hard, love the Lord, and walk in His footsteps, including up steep mountains, through dark valleys, and maybe even up to your own death.
It may be hard, but as we read yesterday, “By human resources it is impossible, but not for God: because for God everything is possible” (Mark 10:27), so...
Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.
Now go sell something.
