God Made Adam a Helper

Posted by Wes Schaeffer | February 9, 2023

From today’s reading...

Yahweh God said, ‘It is not right that the man should be alone. I shall make him a helper.’” Genesis 2:18

As usual, the devil uses people such as extreme feminists, communists, fascists, and Nazis to distract and upset us, so we forget the true meaning of the Bible by never learning it because we are shouted down, berated, and attacked for even mentioning verses such as this.

These evil, lost souls claim that the Bible is old, dead, and patriarchal.

They argue that those who follow the teachings of the Bible hate women and just want to oppress them and that true freedom is having sex with different partners every night of the week, aborting your babies, handing your children over to the government to raise and indoctrinate while they sit in a cubicle for 60 hours a week slaving away (for a man, usually) and self-diagnose themselves with everything from ADHD to PTSD to anxiety to depression and self-medicate with alcohol and “recreational” drugs.

How’s that working out for us?

The reality is far different.

Many things really are lost in translation, including the deeper meaning of today’s verse.

In Christianity, the term Paraclete is usually used in reference to the Holy Spirit.

The Ancient Greek word is παράκλητος.

The Latin is paracletus.

They can mean “advocate” or—are you ready for this?—“helper.”

WHAT THA WHAT?

Yep.

In the same way that God sends us His Holy Spirit to “help” us, He sent Eve, woman, to “help” Adam, man.

In the same way that the Holy Spirit is not God, woman is not man.

In the same way that the Holy Spirit is equal to God, woman is equal to man.

In the same way that the Holy Spirit is one with God, so do the woman and man join to become one flesh and, through their love for one another, create a third…and maybe fourth…and a fifth…and a ninth…

Read the Bible.

Learn what it teaches.

Apply it to your life.

Pray for the fools who twist it to fit their own proclivities, peccadillos, and debauchery, which is the only way to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Market like you mean it. Now go sell something.
