Receive Countless Blessings By Not Seeking Them

The king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, since that was the principal high place -- Solomon presented a thousand burnt offerings on that altar. ‘What you have not asked I shall give you too: such riches and glory as no other king can match.’” 1 Kings 3:4, 13

In 1 Kings 2:27, “Solomon deprived Abiathar of the priesthood of Yahweh…”, which made Solomon king and priest; thus, he was the one to make these burnt offerings on the altar of God.

Oh, the good ol’ days, when political leaders were also wise and holy.
