You Cannot Pay Your Own Ransom To God

Posted by Wes Schaeffer | February 23, 2022

From today’s reading...

They trust in their wealth, and boast of the profusion of their riches. But no one can ever redeem himself or pay his own ransom to God, the price for himself is too high; it can never be that he will live on for ever and avoid the sight of the abyss.” Psalm 49:6-9

James 4 ties in nicely with Psalm 49 today.

They warn us about placing too much trust in ourselves and our worldly goods.

Regardless of your possessions, your abilities, your status in life, the abyss awaits any of us who do not...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Now go sell something.
