Look at the ads thrown at you thousands of times a day:
- Lose weight while you sleep!
- Turn your business into a profit-minting machine in just 7 days!
- Get your black belt in 30 days!
These ads continue to be run because we’re gullible.
We are pleasure-seeking creatures.
We all hate pain and crave comfort.
But books aren’t written and statues aren’t erected and schools aren’t named after men who slept in and waited for the storm to pass to get after it.
Times are tough? Good.
You’re uncomfortable? Excellent.
You’re scared? Fantastic.
You’re not sure you have what it takes? Jump in and let’s find out for sure.
God will give you what you need, but you gotta get up and get going because even God can’t steer a parked car.
Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.
