Have You Done What I Forbade?

Posted by Wes Schaeffer | December 8, 2022

From today’s reading...

‘Who told you that you were naked?’ he asked. ‘Have you been eating from the tree I forbade you to eat?’” Genesis 3:11

Why do we have to touch the stove to believe it’s hot or the bench to believe it is wet with paint?

Why can’t we leave well enough alone?

Why must we fix what ain’t broken?

Why do we want two birds in the bush when we have one in the hand?

Was Ford trying to hurt me or lord their power over me or control me when they “forbade" me from putting unleaded gasoline into my diesel truck, or did they have my best interests at heart?

You can learn by running into walls, off cliffs, and into oncoming traffic, or you can learn by reading and heeding the signs the road crews erected when they built the road.

Follow God’s instructions.

Do what He says.

Don’t do what He forbids, which is the only way to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Market like you mean it. Now go sell something.
