Jesus Was Not Accepted

Posted by Wes Schaeffer | December 31, 2021

From today’s reading...

He came to his own and his own people did not accept him.” John 1:11

Jesus came to a people who knew the scriptures, so He should’ve been received with open arms.

However, far too many did not understand the scriptures, and far too many in power had made a comfortable living for themselves propagating their faulty understanding of the scriptures.

Nothing has changed in two thousand years.

People still willfully misrepresent not only the meaning of the Bible but the actual words printed in it.

We also see this in politics, including the CDC, IRS, FBI, CIA, and DoD, which have all been weaponized against our own citizens via their politicization.

When an organization gets too big, the money and the power becomes too enticing for many, which leads to corruption, greed, and oppression, and once things get to that point anything can happen, including the framing, arrest, torture, and murder of God.

If it can happen to Him, it can happen to you.

But Jesus showed us how to conduct ourselves despite—and because of—our sinful ways, so...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Now go sell something.
