So many well-meaning but misinformed Christians love telling me, “You can’t work your way to heaven. I’ve accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior, so I am good to go. I’m saved. Done. End of story.”

Maybe you’re right, and 1 John 2 is wrong. I mean, you have the internet now…and MSNBC…and Reddit…and TikTok.
So you’re probably much smarter, wiser, and holier than John could ever dream of being.
So please accept my apologies.
