Let me ask you something.
How clear and direct are the 10 Commandments?
You’ve been handed those since before you could speak.
Why don’t you live up to all of them every day?
Because you’re sinful and weak, that’s why.
How do I know?
Because I’m sinful and weak, too.
Mary was an unwed teenage girl in a theocratic state that would have killed her for what they thought she did.
She could’ve said no to God, but she didn’t.
She listened to Gabriel and was not afraid (v30).
So I’ll say it again: be like Mary.
