Mary Is How Jesus Came To Be Born

Written by Wes Schaeffer | December 18, 2021

From today’s reading...

This is how Jesus Christ came to be born. His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph; but before they came to live together she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 1:18

There is a lot of confusion about Mary, as seen by the obstacle she is to many Protestants, which is as unbiblical as it comes.

She risked her life to carry Jesus.

She risked her life to deliver Him.

She risked her life to save Him.

She dedicated her life to raising Him.

She directed us all to “Do whatever he tells you” in John 2:2.

She risked her life again as she accompanied Him to Golgotha.

She continued to risk her life by associating with the Apostles and disciples after the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.

No mother has ever lived the life God has called us to live as Mary has.

No mother has ever loved Jesus as completely as Mary did.

We would all do well to seek to understand Mary and emulate her life, which is the only way to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Now go sell something.
