No Shepherd, No Peace

Posted by Wes Schaeffer | December 4, 2021

From today’s reading...

And when he saw the crowds he felt sorry for them because they were harassed and dejected, like sheep without a shepherd.” Matthew 9:36

Ships need rudders, sheep need shepherds, we need Jesus.

The state of our current harassed and dejected society tells me Jesus is feeling quite sorry for us right now. We have been given great power, but we have shunned our responsibility.

It’s time for us to step into the leadership roles God has called us to step into by following His Son with our whole heart, mind, body, and soul.

We become great leaders by emulating great leaders.

We become great leaders by becoming great followers.

We create peace and joy for ourselves by following the guidance of the Shepherd.

We create peace and joy for our families and communities by becoming great shepherds.

The only way to do all of the above to ensure we rise above is to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Now go sell something.
