Don't Be Stupid. Listen AND Act!

Written by Wes Schaeffer | December 2, 2021

From today’s reading...

‘But everyone who listens to these words of mine and does not act on them will be like a stupid man who built his house on sand.’”
Matthew 7:26

God worked for six days out of seven when He kicked things off.

He had Adam “cultivate and take care of” (Genesis 2:15) the garden, not just lounge around napping in the sun.

Noah built the ark. Abraham took Isaac to be sacrificed. Moses led. David fought. John preached and baptized. Joseph protected Mary. Jesus died.

Hearing, learning, understanding, and knowing is all well and good, but we’re called to be more, which is only done by taking proper action.

We’re called to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Now go sell something.
