Be Confident In Using God's Gifts

Posted by Wes Schaeffer | November 5, 2021

From today’s reading...

But I have special confidence in writing on some points to you, to refresh your memories, because of the grace that was given to me by God.” Romans 15:15

There was a girl who was given a car for her sweet 16 birthday.

It was a used car, but it was in good shape, and it was paid off.

All she had to do was pay for the gas. Her parents had offered to pay for her insurance.

But she was unhappy and refused to drive it.

Instead, she walked everywhere or rode her bike or hitched a ride with friends.

Why would she do such a thing?

Because one of her friends was given a new car for her sweet 16 and she was jealous.

Now, if that sounds silly, imagine how silly it is that you are not using the gifts God gave you because you are jealous He gave someone else a different gift.

Accept God’s grace.

Be confident in using the gifts fully He has given you because the world needs your gifts, and it’s the only way to...

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.

Now go sell something.
