In Psalm 144:1b-2 today we read David praising God “who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle, my faithful love, my bastion, my citadel, my Saviour; I shelter behind him, my shield, he makes the peoples submit to me.”
John reveals to us the fate of the prophets who are killed for staying true to God. But that was not the end for them.
