From today’s reading...
For the whole creation, submissive to your commands, had its very nature re-created, so that your children should be preserved from harm.” Wisdom 9:6
The author today is reminding us of God’s love and power in freeing the Israelites from Egypt.
God’s “all-powerful Word” (Wisdom 8:15) was enough to destroy and recreate. To harm and to rescue.
Being created in the image of God, you and I have similar power.
We can speak worlds into existence.
We can destroy or create by what we say and how we live.
