Written by Wes Schaeffer | October 30, 2020

From today’s reading...

Put on the full armour of God so as to be able to resist the devil's tactics. For it is not against human enemies that we have to struggle, but against the principalities and the ruling forces who are masters of the darkness in this world, the spirits of evil in the heavens.” Ephesians 6:11-12

To believe in God and not the devil is childish, foolish, and ignorant. To believe all you have to do is believe is childish, foolish, and ignorant.

Paul believed more than and me yet he wrote today’s reading as “an ambassador in chains.” He asked for prayers so he would have “an opportunity to open my mouth and fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel.”

Stay the course.
Keep the faith.
Endure.
